Mama Roma’sBrick Oven Pie and Pasta

When I tell you I've eaten my fair share of Italian food. My family owned the blue parrot in Colorado that was open for 98 years, and this is the best Italian meal I've ever had. The Alfredo came out steaming. The shrimp were perfectly done. The chicken was most and juicy but didn't take over the meal. The huge garlic rolls were incredible for tying in a second meal with the huge portions. The fried calamari was to die for. The size salad was fresh and cold. I don't have a single thing to complain about. Service was great. The guy wasn't hovering, but didn't let my drink empty and have me an honest opinion of the menu and what to order as a first time patron. 1000% will go again. I suggest you do to. I don't believe that the carry out will do justice of the sit in service. Just amazing. Price was fair for portion size and quality.

The service was flawless. I ordered the broccoli and shrimp fettuccine which was really delicious, not too intense in flavour but definitely not bland. The portion sizes were quite generous and the team was really friendly. Would highly recommend!

Disclaimer: My son is a server here. We had dinner after trick or treat with friends. Pizza, large calzone, a pasta meal, salads, a couple of appetizers, and garlic dinner rolls. Food was perfect; hot, looked great, tasted wonderful. Salads are great, they have olives, eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, banana and sweet peppers, and lettuce. We have leftovers galore! The restaurant is clean, and nicely decorated. Server was attentive, and joked with us. We have always had great experiences at Mama's. I've seen comments about price, you'll pay very close to the same price for similar dishes at the big Italian chain. Support our local, amazing, authentic Italian restaurant.

Mama Roma's was amazing! We were visiting from out of town but frequent Glenville fairly often. This was our first trip to Mama Roma's but hopefully not the last. The pizza was absolutely delicious and the owners were so warm and accommodating. Definitely don't skip over this place!

Absolutely wonderful food! Priced right. My wife LOVED the gluten free options --- that cheese ravioli and the sauce!!! We eat pork free as well and I loved the spaghetti and meat balls! Mike (our server) was so friendly and helpful. If you come to Glenville, WV or are camping at Cedar Creek State park --- you need to visit here!

Delizioso italiano! While visiting family, I had the pleasure to have Mammas twice. The first time was for pizza. We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom along with a margarita pizza, and both were very good. Full of flavor and the margarita pizza had balsamic drizzle, which enhanced the flavor profile. On the second night, We ordered the fried calamari. They came out crispy, and I highly recommend them. I then ordered the chicken chicken cacciatore. The dish was full of flavor, and the sauce was exquisite. The dinner came with a salad and rolls. The rolls are worth going by themselves. The salad has a house dressing option. It's served with the house balsamic, and it's also worth the trip, in my opinion. Overall, every dish was cooked well and tasted great.

What a surprise! Beyond my expectations! Starting with the greeting, the service from Harley? was excellent. My drink was refilled when empty without asking. The large-print photos on the walls of medieval Italian cities or the canals of Venice certainly help set the mood. The food was so very good. I had the Chicken Parmesan and it was properly thin, breaded, and full or flavor! The owner was on top of every detail and kept the staff on their toes focused on service. Update: I went back to try the Veal and Eggplant Parmesan and they were also excellent! The bread is a secret treasure! Don't miss out! It is soft, warm, buttery, and the slivers of garlic provide great flavor! The restrooms are clean and well lit.

I came in to sit down for dinner. There was a sign that said, "Please wait to be seated" i waited about ten minutes by the sign before going over to the counter and waiting another 5 minutes before someone told me they'd be with me in a minute. For reference, there was only a family and a couple that were dining in at that time. Eventually, I was seated and ordered food. I had the rigatoni ala vodka. It wasn't bad, but I've had better vodka sauce. The waiter didn't come back until I got his attention for the check. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. Overall, this place is okay. It's not terrible, but it's also not great.
